Why Vote for Me.
Imagine for a moment that most of us are planning on voting in November. We’ll vote for People to serve in County elected offices. We’ll vote for people to serve in State offices. And we’ll vote for people to hold Federal offices. Some will be councilmen and women. Some will serve on the school board. There will be Governors, Department heads, Congressmen and women and Senators. Not to mention Judges, Mayor’s and Commissioners among many other offices sought. Sounds like a lot to think about. So how do you go about deciding who to vote for?
It’s simple really. You just vote for who you’re told to vote for. Sure. Isn’t your Union telling you who the best candidate is. Just vote for them. How about your religious leader, they certainly have an opinion after the disclaimer about they aren’t in politics. Your boss may have an influence. Maybe an outspoken family member. Oh I know, how about that favorite celebrity, after all they’re really popular with your friends. They must know who is the best candidate for their cause. Then there’s the fail safe. Vote for your party. Yeah.
Ever since I began this campaign to become a U.S. Congressman people have been telling me the same thing. I’ve received the same advice from virtually all walks of life, all forms of government employees, all levels of business and from every cause oriented conversation I’ve been in. Almost everyone tells me the same thing. I have to tell the people what they want to hear and tell them what I can do for them even if it’s not true. People seem to know that campaign promises (lies) are what get politicians elected. The thing politicians do is very simple. They campaign on promises. They get elected and they spend your money. This form of governing has been going on for a long time and it’s still going on today.
Now it makes sense why people choose the candidates they choose. They want the money to be spent in their favor. So why would you want to vote for me. I only want the government to do what it’s Constitutionally authorized to do. That means I want to repeal more laws than I want to pass. That means I want to cut more spending than I wan to initiate. I won’t vote for your earmarks and I won’t vote for the special interests. That means that The powers not delegated to the Unites States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. The Federal Government is Constitutionally limited in its scope of power. But politicians have been buying votes and continue to buy votes. With your money!
I’m not overly competitive but here’s a simple truth, and I challenge everyone and any one from Chris Matthews and James Carville to Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh and everyone in between. Yes, that means you to Alex Jones. The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States of America do not acknowledge or endorse the concept of a political party. Karl Marx in the Communist Manifesto promotes trade unions that form into political parties to promote the ascent of Communism. My challenge is this. Explain how support of any political party adheres to the concept of the U. S. Constitution instead of the Concept of Communism. And then ask yourself how voting for your party, any party, just because it’s the party, supports anything but a Communist form of Government.
The U.S. needs to spend a lot of money for a lot of reasons. But I’m not going to promise to spend your money on everything that everyone wants. Instead I want you to keep it and spend it yourself, in your State and in your community. That’s why you can vote for me to help begin to Restore the Republic to a Constitutionally authorized Government.
